Why could Condoleezza Rice be Mabus?

Condoleezza Rice was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 14, 1954. At Stanford University, Rice is a tenured Professor of Political Science.

From 1989 through March 1991 she was Director, and then Senior Director, of Soviet and East European Affairs in the National Security Council and a Special Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs.in the George H. W. Bush Administration.

When George W. Bush became president in 2001, Rice was picked to serve as National Security Advisor. Rice has been an outspoken supporter for the invasion of Iraq.

Rice was involved in a controversy over her initial refusal to testify before the 9/11 Commission.

In 2005, Rice became Secretary of State replacing Colin Powell.
