Why could John McCain be Mabus?
John McCain is the senior United States Senator from Arizona and a candidate for the Republican Party nomination in the 2008 presidential election.
In 1967, McCain became a POW during the Vietnam War by the North Vietnamese. McCain was tortured and moved to serveral prison camps. He was released in 1973.
In the 1980s, McCain became enmeshed in the Keating Five scandal. Between 1982 and 1987, McCain received approximately $112,000 in political contributions from Keating and his associates.
McCain was a candidate in the 2000 presidential election, but was defeated by George W. Bush during the early primary states.
McCain became a supporter of Bush and an advocate for strong military measures against those responsible for the September 11 Attacks. He is also a strong supporter for the attack on Iraq and supports attacking Iran.
