Why could Abu Abbas be Mabus?

For years, Abu Abbas was feared as an international terrorist in Israel and Europe, and idolized as a freedom fighter in the Arab world. In the United States, he's known as the mastermind of the Achille Lauro hijacking, which received international attention and cost an American his life.

Abbas is the general director of the Palestine Liberation Front, which the U.S. State Department has designated a terrorist organization.

Abbas, whose real first name is Muhammed, was apprehended by US forces during the Iraqi Invasion and died - in US custody - on March 9th 2004.
